Who are we

We are a data infrastructure for environmental monitoring. We are building a compute engine to help predict environmental quality based on tree planting activities. This will encourage more tree planting activities as a way of keeping the water, sanitation and environment clean and sustainable for the now and future generations.

Why are we building this data infrastructure?

Already two thirds of the world population is facing water shortage due to altered weather patterns. And the current consumption rate can only get worse with the rising population.

Carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide and methane gasses are now more abundant in the earth’s atmosphere than ever! But trees are the solution for keeping these gasses on the ground.

Otherwise these gasses will create a heat shield by absorbing sun's energy and directing it to earth’s surface ,casuring rise in earth's temperature and loss of water, poor hygiene and reduction in environmental quality.

Such effects are evident in wildfires, loss in water volumes in cities and municipalities and poor yields of fresh produce in case of rain fed agriculture.

Our Vision

Provide the data infrastructure to the public for their active participation in tree plating exercise and environmental sustainability related activities.

Our Mission

Is to help plant 15 billion trees by 2032 in Kenya.
